Molly's Technology Page

We are learning how to make a wiki page. There are many uses for a wiki page. I will be using this page to take notes on what I've learned during this pdp. 4 hours
  • how to make a wiki
  • how to invite people to join your wiki- once you've created a wiki, go to manage wiki- this is where you go to create usernames and passwords for your class. You can put names and passwords on an excel spreadsheet, then import the group.

  • once you have your page set up, click on edit and name it. You can create a page for each student.

The remainder of the morning consisted of an introduction to school fusion. We created a profile by adding our name and telling a little information about ourselves.

We viewed a slideshow created by Jesse that summarized the many tools that can be used in school fusion. As a group we asked questions, discussed and shared information.

January 21 8:00- 12:00- Met in the computer lab. Learned about wikis. Created a wiki space to document learning.

Thursday Jan 27th- Met with Candice for 1 hour to help her begin on school fusion- create a profile, and introuduce the educational wikispace.
- - Met as a PDP group to continue exploration on the school fusion. I added a slideshow, completed an announcements page, created a daily scedule, and changed the fonts and backgrounds.

Jan. 28 8:00-noon Met in the computer lab. learned about school fusion. created a fusion page

Feb. 10- Met in my classroom to learn about smart board. Visited smarttech and learned how to download lessons.

Feb. 24- Met with Sara to complete smart board training.

March 4- Learned about digital citizenship. We went to a 3 hour training on on-line reading books.
